What’s the best for touching the sky with the fingers? Do it individually or try to reach it collectively by creating a castle? In The Documentary of the Month of April, The Human Tower, three cultures, the Catalan, the Chilean and the Indian, looking to do the same: to join forces for a collective success. In Vilafranca del Penedès, Santiago de Chile and Mumbai the castles’ building make dozens of men and women join to go further.
The documentary, directed by Cano Rojas and Ram Devieni, shows how the creation of castles in crisis periods makes sense to collective hopes, even though nothing is easy. A global history about passion, courage and tension of the towers done for and with human persons.
On April the 12th there will be a special screening at Cines Renoir Floridablanca, which will count with a posterior dialogue with Cano Rojas, director, and Miquel Ferret, expresident of the Castellers de Vilafranca, costars in the film.
