Since last February Parallel40 has been immersed in the Momentum Project, an initiative aimed at promoting social entrepreneurship through two lines of work: the development of a program to consolidate and increase the impact of these initiatives and the creation of a ecosystem of support to social entrepreneur.
Out of more than 100 applicants, Parallel40 was chosen, along with eight other candidates to participate in the project, by demonstrating during the selection process, the feasibility, impact capability and growth potential of their projects.
On Monday October 29th 2013 Parallel40 participated in the Social Investment Day 2012 in Madrid, one of the key elements for entrepreneurs selected in this year’s Momentum Project. During this journey, and after he had spent an intense period of training, Parallel40 presented their development plans to seek funding and to continue the growth plans of two of its projects: The Documentary of the Month and DocsBarcelona Festival.
By participating in this social entrepreneurship program, Parallel 40 contributes with its diffusion of the social documentary to implement sustainable solutions that improve corporate social injustice, and social and environmental balance.
