Petitet, the documentary by Carles Bosch, in the Gaudí Film Exhibition.
The Gaudí Film Exhibition is the Catalan film circuit organized by the Catalan Cinema Academy and aims to bring the cinema produced in Catalonia closer to the spectators. This year will feature the documentary Petitet within its programming.
The film, directed by Carles Bosch and also scripted by David Vidal, opened the 21st edition of the DocsBarcelona Festival and was released commercially in cinemas and on the DocsBarcelona of the Month network last June. If you missed it or want to repeat the experience, you have no excuse!
During this month of November will be able to see in a total of 34 cinemas distributed in all the Catalan territory within the Gaudí Film Exhibition. You can check all the dates, prices and schedules in this link: https://www.ciclegaudi.cat/cartellera/petitet/

Joan Ximénez Valentí, better known by the name of Petitet, a corpulent gypsy from the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona, had accompanied many of the great musicians of the rumba playing the bongos. Before his mother died, Petitet promised him that one day he would return the Catalan rumba to the highest point, to one of the most important stages: the Gran Teatro del Liceu. Now, in order to fulfill his promise, he will have to gather around a score of gypsy musicians -brilliant, but undisciplined- and achieve the miracle of agreeing with a symphony orchestra.
