Q&A with Ada Parellada and tasting of ecological tomatoes

The chef Ada Parellada will star the Q&A at the When Tomatoes Met Wagner premiere

When Tomatoes Met Wagner will be the next premiere of DocsBarcelona of the Month that will take place in Cinemes Girona on Wednesday, December 4th at 7.30 p.m. After the projection will take place the Q&A with Ada Parellada, chef and an infatigable restaurateur with more than 25 years in active. With her we’ll discuss about topically issues as ecological food, small farmers and how to reuse the food when we are deep in a capitalist food system. Furthermore, we’ll enjoy a tastisting of the same ecological tomatoe form the film, directly from Greece!

Ada Parellada Garrell (Granollers, Spain, 1967) came from a family linked at restaurateur world -well known restaurants as Fonda Europa, 7 Portes or Senyor Parellada, belongs to her family- and she collaborate with different media about the promotion of well feeding habits. Since 1993 she directs the barcelonian restaurant Semproniana.

She defines her own job as “a daily effort, a mixeture of flavours and people, conversations and products, smells and laughs, bowls ans kisses, that walk as the rithm of life”.

In 2016 she was awarded with Sant Jordi Cross in aknowledgement about her own path in restaurateur world.
