Niels Stockholm is a 79-year-old biodynamic farmer who works the land with his wife Rita north of Copenhagen. His life philosophy is based on the idea that man and earth are connected to the universe, and that’s why he grows his food in strict synchrony with the moon calendar to achieve the utmost harmony with the cosmos. The food from his farm, fresh and exceptionally good, supplies some of the best restaurants in the world. However, Niels has to face a few problems that are unsettling his day-to-day. His farm has to conform to rules and regulations from authorities that are indifferent to his biodynamic principles. But his main worry is feeling that his life is coming to an end and he doesn’t have any successor to continue his dream.
